Lawrence Park Tennis Club & Lawrence Park Lawn Bowling Club 100th Anniversary

The Lawrence Park Tennis club recently celebrated a huge milestone in the clubs history, For 100 years tennis, lawn bowling and croquet have been played at Lawrence Park. The history of these clubs is the history of Lawerence Park. Lawrence Park estates was the brainchild of English-born Wilfrid Servington Dinnic, who was the President of Standard Loan company in Toronto. The location of these clubs is a hidden gem in the city. The people who become members of these clubs , appreciate the surroundings and the beauty. They wish others could take advantage of these clubs, become members and enjoy the sports in this natural location.

On hand to help celebrate this magnificent milestone were current and past members as well as members of the executive and even a few city councillors. SNAP North Toronto wishes the club a happy 100 years and hopes to help celebrate the 200 year anniversary.
