14TH ANNUAL CORSO ITALIA FESTIVAL
Corso Italia took over St. Clair Avenue West between Westmount & Lansdowne over the Canada day long weekend. Inviting all of Toronto to come out with the whole family for a weekend of food, arts, entertainment and old world ambiance!
A diverse line-up with over 30 bands performed jazz to Italian to blues and salsa music, showcased live on street corners, patios and balconies. There were rides for the kids and roaming buskers.
The “Mercato” at Corso Italia hosted a variety of unique stores and services, including bakeries, fashion boutiques, food markets, bookstores, gift shops, and jewelry stores. Local merchants had an all day sidewalk sale Saturday & Sunday.
Also on hand was the Schneiders Country Naturals™ Gazebo offering FREE samples of the new line of prepared meats which includes hot dogs, bacon, ham and six varieties of sliced deli meats – all made with only natural, wholesome ingredients and no artificial flavours, colours, fillers or preservatives.
Attendees had the opportunity to connect with the Schneiders Country Naturals™ team to receive product coupons and giveaways for the entire family, plus learn more about the Schneiders Country Naturals Picnic Anywhere Project – an online contest where Canadians can nominate a local park in their community that needs a facelift. The Picnic Anywhere Project will award one Canadian community $100,000 to transform a public space into the ultimate picnic destination. Four runner-up communities will receive $10,000 to improve a community picnicking space.
