Rocking Togas for Arthritis

When was the last time you attended a Toga party? With that in mind, Nancy Paquette put together a fun, filled evening of games, live music and great prizes. This all took place just around the corner from everyone, Rocki Racoons, located at 2579 Yonge Street. The evening’s purpose was not to simply get wrapped in a sheet but to raise funds for the Arthritis Society's Joints in Motion team. This fall, Nancy will complete her first marathon (in Greece) in honour of her lifelong friend Nadine who has suffered from psoriatic arthritis since the age of 12. With tickets only $10 (which included a beverage), where else could you wear a sheet, have a drink and support a great cause?
