Sew Be It Girl
Where do mid-town and downtown Tweens & Teens go to on school nights? Located at 282 Eglinton Avenue West, Emma Lewis invited friends, family and designers to view her Spring/Summer 2010 clothing line and celebrate the retail launch of their studio…at the age of 15. Launching her own collection as part of the Sew Be It Girl Label, Emma is currently balancing her academic life at school while continuing workshops at Sew Be It Girl. Sew Be It Girl’s new label features teen clothing collections designed by select teen designers of Sew Be It Girl, Toronto’s first sewing studio dedicated to tween and teen fashionistas. Advancing the design careers of up-and-coming Canadian fashion prodigies through one-on-one mentorship, entrepreneurial training and fashion design workshops, 15-year-old Emma Lewis is the first to benefit from and contribute to Sew Be It Girl’s label. www.sewbeitstudio.com
