Doula Speed Dating
Urban Chiropractic, located at 18 Lola Rd. (Yonge, below Eglinton) along with The Nesting Place has an evening of Doula Speed Dating. Doulas provide non-medical emotional, physical and informational support to parents during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. The idea: Meet several doulas, face-to-face and conduct mini-interviews. This allows you to get to know multiple doulas while cutting down your research and interviewing time. The support of a doula increases parents' satisfaction with their birth experience and reduces the likelihood of intervention.
