Dogs in the hood
North Toronto is a dog town; meaning our community likes their dogs. They are everywhere, and, being a dog lover, I cannot help myself asking the owners if I can say “Hi”. Dogs and their owners also seem to gather into clusters of more than 2; outside the store, dog parks and on the street. It’s just another way to connect the neighbours and others from the community. This month, I had to put my own dog in the paper. Ferris is an 8 year old Chocolate Lab who loves attention, playing and eating (he will really eat anything).
