Right To Play - 24 Hour Challenge

The Boys Athletic Board and Girls Athletic Board at Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute ran a charity week from January 25–January 29, 2010 in support of Right To Play. Right To Play is an athlete-driven, international humanitarian organization that uses the power of sport and play as a tool for development, health and peace of children and the communities in which they live in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world. The main fundraiser for the charity week is the 24 Hour Challenge that took place on Friday January 29, 2010. This event included students raising money to participate and staying physically active for 24 hours. There were 70 kids involved and each participant was required to raise $100. All together they raised $9000. Right to Be Proud.
