NHL AND HERSHEY CANADA TO UNVEIL NEWEST, SWEETEST ADDITION
TO THE NHL LINEUP
Nick Kypreos to introduce the Hershey’s Chocolate Stanley Cup
(Monday, March 8, 2010), Toronto, ON, NHL representatives and Stanley Cup® winner Nick Kypreos will join Hershey Canada Wednesday, March 10 at the home of the original Stanley Cup® trophy, the Hockey Hall of Fame, to announce a new multi-year partnership which makes Hershey Canada the Official Chocolate & Candy of the NHL in Canada.
The exclusive category partnership throughout Canada between Hershey Canada and NHL will bring together two things Canadians love – hockey and Hershey’s chocolate and candy. This new and exciting partnership was the inspiration behind the newest and sweetest hockey icon – the Hershey’s Chocolate Stanley Cup®.
Standing nearly three feet tall, the Hershey’s Chocolate Stanley Cup® is made of more than 150 lbs of Hershey’s smooth, creamy milk chocolate and is a replica of the original Lord Stanley’s Cup, the oldest trophy competed for by professional athletes in North America. Sports fans and VIP’s will be in attendance for the unveiling of the Hershey Chocolate Stanley Cup® to be followed by photo opportunities and an autograph session.
