Lovers of Life: A Concert in Anticipation of Valentine’s Day
With a commanding but gentle voice, Jackie asked those dining at Mezetta to now keep their voices low when speaking or to please stay completely silent. The evening of music with Kye Marshall (on cello) and Andy Scott (on guitar) was about to begin. Standing in the back listening, was the staff along with Mezetta owner, Safa Nematy. "A mini concert" is how it was described by Safa...and that's exactly what it was. The Tapas restaurant and middle-eastern café, has been around since 1991 and has been doing these mini concerts on Wednesday evenings as a way to entertain its patrons. With a choice of early or late dinner and show times, it is a Wednesday must.
