2008 July > National Broadcast Reading Service AGM

Last month local members, volunteers and staff at the National Broadcast Reading Service (NBRS) gathered at the York Reception Centre for the charity’s Annual General Meeting on June 19, 2008. “It’s a real pleasure to be with you here tonight,” said special guest speaker Peter Kent, “particularly as NBRS builds on its wonderful successes with VoicePrint and AudioVision by launching this year The Accessible Channel, which I think is a really exciting project.” Following the meeting, attendees enjoyed a reception, including a prize draw for the non-profit’s volunteer readers.
