2008 July > Facing Mars

Would You Survive the Journey? This new exhibit to hit the Ontario Science Centre features 30 interactive exhibits that focus on the real challenges of sending human explorers to Mars. It opened to the public on June 9th and will be running until January 2009. The exhibition was entirely developed by the Ontario Science Centre in consultation with leading experts from the field of space exploration. FACING MARS combines a range of hands-on experiences with compelling artifacts, such as a rare Mars meteorite from West Africa, and stunning imagery that engages participants in the real physical, psychological and scientific challenges involved in a mission to Mars.
