One of our favourite assignments each month is "Pets in the hood". Animals really enrich our lives, whether it is an early morning workout partner, or snuggle buddy. They really are something else. Their loveable and smart...so smart now that I think about it that they've got us all feeding, walking and patting them with nothing required in return but the odd tail wag, purr and the occasional slobbery kiss.
