Throughout North Toronto and Toronto in general, mothers and fathers and grandmothers and brothers took time out of their busy lives to help those in need. Yard Sale For the Cure took place on May 30th and if driving around the city, one would feel obligated to stop and check out what Toronto households had to sell. All money raised at these yard sales went towards breast cancer research and treatment. From cakes, to clothing to children’s toys, it was great to see the city uniting for a cause so worthy.
