Idols of Tomorrow Show Rehearsal
The first annual showcase featuring the Idols of Tomorrow from the Singing Studio of Deborah Staiman will take place on January 27th, 2007 at the Walmer Centre Theatre. When SNAP North Toronto caught up with Ms. Staiman's students, they were working hard to put the final touches on their performance and solos. Students will perform an exciting variety of solos, duets and ensembles from the pop genre, as well as old favourites such as the Beatles. In addition to private singing lessons, students have also participated in Ms. Staiman's Master Classes in Performance Practices. These are drama classes for singers, and are geared for performance and audition preparation. The showcase will take place at the Walmer Centre Theatre in the annex at 188 Lowther Avenue.
