Community Comes Together to Clean The Ravine!
Not even the weather could stop members of the Glenview Presbyterian Church and many from the community as they cleaned up the Chatsworth Ravine. Everyone met at the church to enjoy some of the delicious refreshments generously donated by Metro and The Organic Over.
Once everyone had filled their belly, it was time to head to the Chatsworth Ravine and help to do their part in making the community a cleaner place to enjoy. The group spread out on both sides of the ravine and picked up bag after bag of trash, some of the younger participants even took to the water to ensure that the stream itself was clean for the fish and wildlife.
The group braved the cold and rainy weather to do their part, everyone had smiles and had a great time. Everyone who took part should be very proud of themselves as the ravine area looked great once they completed the work. Be sure to take a few minutes to visit the Chatsworth Ravine on your next walk, and please make sure to take at least one piece of trash with you. If we all pitch in this world will be a much cleaner place for all.
